With a maximum print width of approximately 6.6 inches, the ZT421 provides additional printing width for businesses that require larger labels and tags than standard 4-inch industrial printers can accommodate.

Zebra ZT421 printers support both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing. Direct thermal printing uses heat-sensitive label material without a ribbon, while thermal transfer printing uses a thermal transfer ribbon to produce the printed image.

Choose from 203 dpi and 300 dpi ZT421 configurations. The 203 dpi models provide fast printing for many barcode, shipping, warehouse, and large-format labeling applications, while 300 dpi configurations offer higher resolution for applications requiring smaller text, detailed graphics, or compact barcodes.

Available media-handling configurations include cutter, peel, liner take-up, and full rewind options. RFID-enabled ZT421 configurations are also available within the ZT421 family for applications requiring compatible UHF RFID label and tag printing and encoding.
