3M 8915 Clean Removal Filament Tape is a high-performance reinforced tape designed for temporarily holding appliance parts and other consumer goods in place during manufacturing, handling, and shipping.

Continuous high-strength glass yarn filaments reinforce the tape to provide dependable holding strength while helping resist abrasion, moisture, scuffing, nicks, and punctures. The clear polypropylene film backing provides the stiffness and durability needed for demanding temporary holding and shipping applications.

A pressure-sensitive synthetic rubber resin adhesive provides high adhesion and strong holding power on common packaging and manufacturing surfaces, including fiberboard, plastics, and metals. The adhesive is specially formulated to provide clean removal and stain resistance on some finishes, making 3M 8915 particularly useful when products or components must be secured temporarily and the tape removed after delivery or assembly.

With a total tape thickness of approximately 6 mil and tensile strength of approximately 170 lb/in, 3M 8915 combines reinforced holding strength with clean-removal performance for appliance manufacturing, temporary attachment, box closing, bundling, and shipment preparation.

The transparent construction allows underlying surfaces, labels, and product information to remain visible while components are secured.
