Reinforce heavy cartons, bundle products, and secure palletized shipments with 3M Scotch 8959 Bi-Directional Filament Tape. Designed for demanding packaging and industrial applications, this high-strength tape combines a clear polypropylene film backing with continuous glass-fiber reinforcement running in both the lengthwise and crosswise directions.
The bi-directional reinforcement helps resist tearing, edge damage, and carton-seam splitting during rough shipping and handling. Its synthetic rubber adhesive provides high initial adhesion and strong holding power on a variety of common packaging surfaces.
The clear backing allows printed graphics and package information to remain visible through the tape.
